Actor Simon Baker plays a psychic medium who works for the FBI using his unusual gift on the TV series The Mentalist, coming back for the 7^th and final season of the show. The cast and the whole staff are in production as it returns on TV in January next year.

There are some casting changes that will happen this season as they added Josie Loren (from "Make It or Break It") in a recurring role as Michelle Vega. She plays this new member of the FBI team and she will be assigned to work with Patrick Jane. She's very new on the job and when she learned about Jane's unusual way in dealing with investigations, she also didn't think it was impressive.

On the other hand, more spoilers of the coming season were actually revealed by Tim Kang who plays the role of Special Agent Kimball Cho. Fans were learning a more about what is to come because he has been updating his Twitter a lot.

He actually posted on the site that it is going to be their last season as he was about to read the script. And one of his posts also hinted that fans might finally see him smile this time because his character hasn't really done that since the show even started.

Moreover, expect to see Morena Baccari once again as Erica Flynn. Her character is someone who is charged with murder but is looking to get away with it by helping the FBI solve a case. Find out if she will get the pardon or not.

And finally, this season is when viewers will see if a romantic relationship could happen between Patrick Jane and Special Agent Teresa Lisbon (played by Robin Tunney). They have had signs that it could be possible from the previous seasons but still it was hard to say.
