OneDrive for iOS devices integrated new security features such as support for Apple's Touch ID and PIN code lock.

Apple tweaked the design displays of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, allowing more files and folders on screen and providing more space for editing Office documents. It also included the ability to sort files and folders on iPad and the iPhone.

In addition, the Redmond-based company integrated Outlook Web App (OWA) for OneDrive for Business users.

It lets users insert links to a file on their OneDrive for Business cloud drive instead of attaching the files when they send an email.

Attaching the sent email will automatically upload it to the receiver's OneDrive for Business cloud drive folder called Email Attachments.

Users can also choose a file on their OneDrive account and send it either as a link to the OneDrive file or as a traditional attachment with granted permissions for recipients.

If the sent file appears to be an attachment, it will appear the same but will include a cloud symbol within the file icon.

OneDrive for Business integration is available only in OWA, OWA for iPhone/iPad and OWA for Android phone (pre-release).

Microsoft is still working to bring it to Outlook desktop users on its next version.
