World number 2, Li Na, beat Caroline Wosniacki in a straight sets victory that propelled her to the semifinals of the WTA Miami Masters Tournament in Florida.

Wozniacki had 24 wins out of 26 games en route to the Miami face-off with Li.
The cold and windy conditions at Key Biscayne were a challenge for both players but Li kept her focus during the big points to win consecutive games at 5-5 in both sets.
Wozniacki battled to the end, but could not break through when it counted most.
"I was feeling like a player against a wall. Because it doesn't matter where it is, she always puts the ball back to my court," Li said about Wozniacki's game.
Li is the first female Chinese player to reach the Sony Open semifinals.
Li next faces Dominika Cibulkova after the 10th-seeded Slovak unleashed a three set victory over 3rd-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska.
Cibulkova has been winless against Li in their previous six meetings. She lost to Li in the Australian Open final, and again in the Indian Wells quarter-finals this month.
Defending champion World number one Serena Williams takes on 4th-seeded Maria Sharapova in the Miami tournament.
