As if Angelina Jolie does not have enough accomplishments under her belt already, she can add another title to her name: 'Honorary Dame'.
Angelina Jolie met the Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth II on October 10. The two met in person inside the Buckingham Palace in London. Her husband, actor Brad Pitt and their six children were said to be present for her honoring ceremony.

The actress, who is also a director and a humanitarian, met with The Queen in the Palace's 1844 Room. Her Royal Majesty presented her with an Honorary Dame Grand Cross.
To those who do not know, honorary damehood is the female version of knighthood. It is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a citizen of the British Empire.
Like their mother, who showed up in a gray but very chic outfit by Ralph & Russo couture and shoes by Salvatore Ferragamo, Maddox, 13, Pax, 10, Zahara, 9, Shiloh, 8, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 6, all dressed up in their best clothing.
The kids were reportedly very happy to be in the Buckingham Palace.
Jolie smiled and had her hand over her heart as she was presented with the award.
Since Jolie is not Brtish, she could not be presented with the formal title of Dame, hence the Honorary Dame Grand Commander title. The "DCMG" initials can still be written beside her name.
It was made known in June that Jolie was to be made an honorary dame when her name and humanitarian work were noticed by the Queen and put into the Queen's Birthday Honors List. It recognizes her efforts to empower women and eradicate sexual violence in the war-torn regions around the world.
"To receive an honor related to foreign policy means a great deal to me, as it is hat I wish to dedicate my working life to. Working on PSVI and with survivors of rape is an honor in itself. I know that succeeding in our goals will take a lifetime, and I am dedicated to it for all of mine," Jolie said.
