Apple has added expensive hardware components to the upcoming iPad Air 2.
The home button flex cable seems to contain a space for a Touch ID home button within the stainless steel ring. Its front panel has a more prolonged connector on its side and contains cut-outs for the Touch ID home button and FaceTime HD camera.
Its logic board appears to have an A8X processor, which is the better version of the A8 chip found on the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus.
The leaked images may sport a 2 GB of RAM that lets users perform more operations at peak performance. Rumors said the new iPad Air will feature a split screen multi-tasking feature.
iPad Air 2's volume control flex cable appears to verify the omission of the mute and screen rotation switch.
Other reports said the Cupertino-based company will announce the updated Mac Minis and iMacs, as well with 27-inch model carrying a high-resolution Retina display.
Apple is expected to launch the iPad Air 2 along with the next-gen Retina iPad mini at an event on October 16.
