In an interview with People magazine, one source claimed that the disappearance of the 'August: Osage County' actress could be possibly rooted from financial concerns and pressure from her surroundings.
"The only trouble I ever felt was stress over lack of money to keep up with what she felt she needed to in Hollywood," shared the source with the magazine.
Upham, who has been known to portray the role of a housekeeper in 'August: Osage County', was reported to have been trying her best to make ends meet. The 32-year-old star has also completed filming her latest movie titled 'Cake', which featured her working alongside Jennifer Aniston.
"She was doing everything she could to make it, but there were times she couldn't even make her own rent," added the source.
"I always worried about her," disclosed Upham's friend. "She's an amazing person. I think she just had trouble trying to keep up with Hollywood. She's always gone against the grain."
It was last Sunday when the actress had been recently seen going out from her apartment in Auburn, Washington. Following her disappearance, Upham's father, Charles Upham, filed a report for a missing person with the authorities. In accordance with the document filed, the star is reportedly inflicted with an undisclosed "medical condition".
