Zhang, who is known as an ex-member of Sunny Days, a K-pop band, was hailed as the winner based on the votes given by the jury composed of 101 members, as well as the audience in the stadium. Her victory marked the second time that a talent from the team of Na Ying, a renowned pop star, won in the show.
For her last battle piece, Parhat performed her own version of the song 'Why Are The Flowers So Red'. In accordance with the report released by NetEase website, Parhat's performance had been widely applauded by those in attendance in the audience.
On the other hand, Zhang chose to perform 'Where Did The Time Go'. The same report shared that her performance had been described as an absolute tearjerker and heartrending.
Following the announcement of the winner, Na reportedly rushed on stage to congratulate her mentee Zhang. However, she first gave a bouquet of flowers to Zhang's final round competitor, 32-year-old Parhat, who was a member of Wang Feng's group.
In an interview following Zhang's victory, Na later claimed that she was astonished when her contestant won as Parhat's final round performance had been really good. In fact, the victorious coach claimed that she actually thought Parhat had the victory in the bag.
The 22-year-old Yu Feng, who is known as an American-educated contestant from Yang Kun's group, landed third place in the competition. The fourth placer was the 26-year-old Qin Yuzi who was from Chyi Chin's team.
