So, Lena Dunham made an appearance last night at the New Yorker Festival, to talk about her new book "Not that Kind of Girl" as well as her plans to make her beloved young adult novel "Catherine, Called Birdy" into a major motion picture.
In between those conversations Dunham somehow came to the topic of Amanda Bynes and the latters current mental state.

Dunham then said "I don't know if I'm the only one who's been closely following Amanda tweets today. She's clearly off her medication, and her whole situation is really bad.
But she did say something kind of similar which was, 'I'm not crazy, I'm actually the one who knows everything that's happening.'
I texted my producer and friend Jenny Konner and I said, 'Maybe I'm crazy, but I think Amanda Bynes is actually kind of a great writer. Do you know what I mean?' She replied and said 'I don't know what you mean!'.
28-year old Bynes tweeted some sort of fictional tale on Friday stating that her father had abused her as a child, then deleted the tweets and stated that her father had microchipped her and that it was the microchip making the abuse allegations and not her.
She is currently under a 5150 hold in Los Angeles, doctors say that the hold can be extended for up to 14 days while her parents have decided to apply for another conservatorship.
Dunham on the other hand, is busy promoting her book and producing.
