Mike Goldberg, long-time commentator for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), says that Brock Lesnar could be leaning more toward a comeback to the premier mixed martial arts (MMA) organization when his wrestling contract is up.

Goldberg recently appeared on "The Paul Allen Project" radio show last Thursday. When he was there, he commented on several things, including his upcoming play-by-play commentary for the National Football League (NFL).

Apart from that he commented on former heavyweight champion, Lesnar's run in the UFC and rumors of his return to the octagon in the future.

Goldberg said that he had heard rumors that Lesnar would return to the UFC. However, he added that he had been hearing these rumors for the past two to three years. He is not sure how legitimate they are.

When he recalled Lesnar's run in the UFC, he felt that the champ never embraced the true game of MMA.

"He didn't embrace the striking, he didn't embrace the submission game. He was like, 'This is what I do, I'm good at it, and I'll win by doing it,'" Goldberg said.

He continues on, adding that he hopes that Lesnar will take the sport more seriously if he returns to the UFC.

Fighting aside though, Goldberg spoke highly of Lesnar's ability to draw the pay-per-view numbers, being the best to draw in people, more than any other fighter in UFC history.

Former World Wrestling Entertainment announcer Jim Ross commented on this, with Lesnar drawing an average of more than 1,000,000,000 PPV buys per event due to his imposing physique and undeniable achievements.

Ross has also chimed in on the possibility of Lesnar returning to the UFC. He points out that Lesnar is looking much more healthier than he has ever looked.

"He's more scary looking than he was before he left [WWE the first time]." It seems to Good ol' J.R. that Lesnar is back on track.

Lesnar's contract with the WWE is set to end by March, after Wrestlemania 31. He has the choice of re-signing with the WWE, returning to the UFC, and retiring from everything for good.
