American hotels operator Hyatt Hotels Corporation said it will launch two more hotels in the country this year even if its first hotel in China has not officially opened yet.
The hotel company said it will introduce the Hyatt Place and Hyatt House brands to China after the launching of the first Hyatt Place hotel, the Hyatt Place Shenzen, in May.

Nong Xia, Vice President of Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, said the introduction of the two new brands in China will help establish the Hyatt brand as the most trusted and highly-preferred hotel brand in the country.
Nong said the Hyatt Place is an upscale select service brand that features 24/7 convenience, while the Hyatt House is an extended brand that offers casual home comforts.
In May, the company will open the Hyatt Place Shenzhen, its first property in China and the entire Asia Pacific region, located in Shenzhen.
Hyatt is an American global operator of hotels. As of last year, the company reported revenue of US$4 billion and total of 45,000 employees around the world.
Hyatt joins the long list of international hotel operators that want to enter China, the world's biggest tourism market. While more than 100 million Chinese tourists are expected to travel abroad this year, more than double the figure or around 200 million are forecast to travel domestically in 2014.
Last week, another hotel operator, the MGM Diaoyutai hospitality has signed a partnership agreement with Kingkey Group, a Chinese hotel operator, for the launch of major luxury hotels in Beijing and Shenzhen. The Beijing hotel will run under the world-renown Bellagio by MGM brand and will be constructed in the central business district of Beijing.
