Apple Pay will be launched two days after Apple's October 16 press event, according to a leaked and allegedly authentic Walgreens memo.
The leaked memo from the largest pharmacy chain in the U.S. stated Apple Pay will start on Saturday, October 18 in Walgreens stores across the country.

The leaked memo addressed to store managers gave instructions for the launch of Apple Pay on October 18. It said the mobile payment integration will "reinforce [Walgreens'] position as a leader an [sic] innovator in the mobile world."
Customers with compatible Apple devices can immediately use Apple Pay to buy stuff.
Walgreens is one of a number of high-profile Apple Pay retail store partners, along with Disney, Nike, McDonalds, and Whole Foods.
Apple Pay is a new service that could transform mobile payments into an easy, secure and private way to pay.
It features near field communication (NFC) technology and works well with iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and the upcoming Apple Watch, as well.
Consumers use it by just tapping their iOS devices "to the upper portion of the pinpad to pay for their purchase."
Apple's newest mobile payment service focuses on providing security and privacy.
Apple Pay won't reveal your name, credit card or security code when you pay in a store, restaurant or other business firm.
"Apple doesn't collect your purchase history, so we don't know what you bought, where you bought it or how much you paid for it. And if your iPhone is lost or stolen, you can use Find My iPhone to quickly suspend payments from that device," said Eddy Cue, Senior Vice President of Internet Software and Services at Apple.
Apple is expected to launch new iPads and Macs in their press event on October 16.
