Actress Penelope Cruz has just been named this year's "Sexiest Woman Alive" by Esquire magazine. Cruz is the eleventh woman to be given the title by the men's magazine, joining previous celebrities including Mila Kunis, Rihanna, Minka Kelly and Scarlett Johansson who won the title twice in 2006 and 2013.

Cruz shared with the magazine in its November issue that she was attracted to drama when she was in her teens and twenties, stating, "I had an attraction to drama. Most of us have that, especially if you are an artist-you feel like you are tempted to explore the darkness."
However, the "Nine" actress admitted that she isn't interested in drama anymore - both in movies and in life. She stated, "For me, the most attractive, charming, cool, fun, interesting thing-how could I call it? A plan."
Cruz said that family means the world to her and, that she isn't willing to divulge details about her personal life with her husband Javier Barden or her two kids to the public. Whatever happens between her and Bardem, Cruz insists that is only between the two of them.
Although the 40-year old actress had been given the title of "sexiest woman alive", she admits that she doesn't feel that her life is representative of that. Rather than being the sexiest woman on the planet, Cruz says she feels more like a mom who doesn't have enough time to sleep and rest.
The self-proclaimed sleepless mom is rumored to be up for the part of "Bond" girl, to play alongside the current James Bond, actor Daniel Craig in the sequel to "Skyfall".
Cruz stars in the upcoming action-comedy "Grimsby" with "Borat" star Sacha Baron Cohen, Cohen's wife, Isla Fisher, Annabelle Wallis and Mark Strong.
"Grimsby" is set to open in theaters in the U.S. on July 31, 2015.
