Much like how soldiers form a brotherhood during times of war, the actors of the war movie "Fury" have formed a strong bond while filming in close quarters. The cast, led by Brad Pitt, had to shoot a lot of their scenes inside a constraining, tight tank.
Aside from Pitt, the flick also stars Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Jon Bernthal, Michael Peña, Jason Isaacs, and Scott Eastwood.

38-year old Bernthal shared that shooting inside the tank was necessary to make the WWII movie authentic, however, it took some time getting used to the tiny space.
According to Bernthal, "There's a turret that moves, and if your arm's in a place where it's not supposed to be, it can get snapped off in an instant. [But] after a few months of being out there, that was one of the most comfortable places in the world to me."
Lerman of "Percy Jackson" fame shared that Director David Ayer wanted to make sure that the actors had a bond with each other in order to be able to properly convey the bond soldiers had on the field.
The 22-year old actor shared that one of Ayer's methods for the actors to bond was to have them spar and punch each other in the face every day, which according to Lerman was the best way to break barriers.
Co-star Michael Peña agreed that brotherhood was important since war brings about apathy to those who are involved in it.
Producer John Lesher shared that because of the strategies Ayer executed, as well as the effort from the cast, the movie feels like the most authentic WWII he has ever seen. The authenticity leads the audience to see, feel and even smell what the actors are experiencing.
Peña shared that Pitt was like the head of their family more than a commander and, that he relished how genuine the conditions got.
"The colder it got, the wetter it got, the bigger Brad's smile was," Bernthal shared.
