New Zealand singer and songwriter Lorde has once again made it to the 25 Most Influential Teens of 2014 list published by Time Magazine. Chloe Grace Moretz and "Modern Family" star Rico Rodriguez are also part of the said list.

Aside from making it to the list, Lorde has also been serving as curator of the new "Hunger Games" soundtrack.

Despite the accolades and all the attention the young artist has been getting from fans and critics all around the world, she continues to be grounded and still has the lightheartedness to be able to make fun of herself.

According to Lorde, her mother, bandmates and makeup artist help keep her feet on the ground. She shared that she is grateful for their honesty, since they never tell her that a song or a performance is good just for the sake of being nice or not hurting her feelings. She stated that she can always rely on them being upfront with her.

Lorde shared that she still doesn't feel that she's a Grammy-winning artist. In fact, she feels that she still has to prove herself worthy of the stage and the recognition every day.

As a matter of fact, Lorde doesn't mind being made fun of and, doesn't take herself too seriously.

In a recent episode of "South Park" the singer was portrayed as a 40-something geologist with a mustache. She said that she found it really funny and even mocked herself by copying how the character talked.

"I was thinking, 'Yeah he has a moustache... I mean I have a moustache, but is it that prominent?' But it was someone's dad pretending to be me. We actually, in my hotel room, went 'Ya ya ya ya ya I'm Lorde! Ya ya ya!' for like an hour, because that's why they do on the episode, so..." she laughed.
