Teigen was interviewed during the Power of Women event hosted by Variety and she said that she does not know why she has this weird feeling over Bynes but said that she and Bynes are of the same age and she grew up looking to the star.
She added that for her, to see the path that Bynes is taking and to witness what is happening to her, it is affecting her in ways that she never thought she would feel. She also said, "It's weird to be in a situation where you can't help."
She also noted that she just wants to see Bynes to live a healthier and a better life than what she is undergoing now. She pressed that they are not close and she does not know her that much but she wants to bring the star back to being a much-loved actress.
She also said that she wanted to make Bynes happy for some reason but she can't do anything about it as she is not there physically. She noted that what the public and the media is doing to Bynes is just hurting the situation.
Teigen also expressed her happiness knowing that Bynes' psychiatric hold has been extended to fourteen more days. The establishment where she was placed offers a wide range of behavioral health care treatment and can help patients with chemical dependency and co-occurring disorders.
Bynes is yet to comment on the overflowing concern and support of different people in the business.
