Speculations that the North Korean Dictator Kim Jong-Un is under house arrest has been dismissed when the leader was spotted visiting a residential district and a science academy on Tuesday after being out of the public eye for more than a month.
The North Korean state TV first reported the news, but no details were given when he made the visits. It was not also mentioned in the broadcast that this is the first appearance of Kim after "missing" since that of September 3 this year. However, it was evident that Kim had a cane with him supporting his weight as he still limped while walking.

The report, however, mentioned that Kim visited the said place to give a "field guidance" to the newly-established Wisong Scientists Residential District. Aside from the said activity, he also reportedly visit the new Natural Energy Institute of the State Academy of Sciences.
The leader was quoted saying that their scientists are patriots who devote their lives to help build a rich and a powerful nation in reference to NoKor.
Critics say that the reports about Kim emerging from taking a hiatus is said to dismiss rumors about an ongoing coup and a transfer of power from Kim to one of the senior officials heading the military.
Also, according to An Chan-il, a man who served in the army of North Korea as a junior officer but has transferred in South Korea in 1979 and is now a private think tank in Seoul, the report of the state media is aimed to ease the international community especially after a gunfire exchange commenced Friday between the North and South Korean border guards.
Kim is a military leader and the gunfire exchange was a military activity, which might have sparked concern among the military men of NoKor and the public, adds An.
The top three military leaders and officials that attended the closing of the Asian Games in South Korea last week has denied speculations that the dictator is suffering from health-related problems.
In relation to this, an official who wanted to remain anonymous, told the media that Kim is fully capable of taking control of the government because he is only suffering from discomforts due to hurting his leg from a military drill.
