According to media reports, Liu allegedly uploaded a screenshot of a conversation into his Facebook page which implies that Wong and Wu are being used by crew members who are aiming for sexual services from actresses.
However, Wu has stepped forward to refute such claims, saying that he has never made such advances to actresses. He also posted a message on Weibo, telling people not to believe the rumor and jump to conclusions while he warned journalists to stop reporting false information.
The actor's girlfriend, Mainland Chinese actress Liu Shi Shi, also supported him and wrote a post which says, "Please end it here, thank you."
Fortunately, Wu's fans also supported him, posting messages that express their faith towards the actor. One netizen has posted, "Rumors are rumors. They will die down ultimately."
The Taiwanese singer-actor's agency, Beijing Scarecrow Entertainment, has released an official statement last October 5, citing that they have been hearing about 'crew members making indecent advances to female celebrities' which involved Wu.
According to the company, these false reports have been circulating as of late and people have speculated that they were behind what was going on. However, the company has clarified several rumors about the company as well as Wu.
Scarecrow Entertainment stated that they had nothing to do with what was going on. They have also cleared that Wu is not a part of the movie the crew members were from as he did not accept any roles as opposed to the reports being floated by media.
According to the company, Wu and his co-stars in another production, were busy preparing and did not have anything to do with the people who are involved in the rumors.
The company threatened to take legal action against the people who involved Wu in the issue and has also extended their gratitude towards his supporters.
On the other hand, Bosco Wong has yet to respond about his involvement in the issue.
