Fox recently came out with a TV series that is mixed with drama and comedy and is called Red Band Society. Margaret Nagle created the series that revolves around a group of teens who are all in a pediatric ward.

Since its pilot, the reviews about the show have been just okay. Critics were not so crazy about the idea of the story but they are not suggesting it should be cancelled anytime soon, so it looks like the show could remain.

The pilot alone earned 5.79 million viewers and that is not a bad number to start off. This show almost didn't make it because the project wasn't something the producers thought would be sellable at first. It was a remake of a Spanish series called Polseres Vermelles. After thinking a lot about the project, the network decided to give Nagle a go signal to conduct the pilot.

Viewers will get to know all the different characters and their colorful personality on this show, which makes the series more interesting to watch. Griffin Gluck as Charlie narrates the whole story. He is suffering from a coma and the intriguing part is if he will be waking up as the story goes on.

The cast includes Octavia Spencer as Dena Jackson; she plays a nurse whom everyone in the ward is scared of because of her strict rules. Also on the show is Dave Annable as Dr. Adam McAndrew who is a surgeon in the story taking care of the many patients as well.

It is not the typical dramedy so if you are intrigued enough about this series, catch its 5^th episode entitled So Tell Me What You Want What You Really Really Want, tomorrow October 15, 9/8 Central on FOX.
