Mandopop singer songwriter Khalil Fong, who is being rumored to be ethnic Cantopop singer Fiona Sit's boyfriend, maintains that he is just very close friends with her and says that it is appropriate for him to be referred to as her 'bossom friend'.
After landing in Singapore for a concert, Fong was interviewed by the media where he was asked what he thought of Sit's claim that he is her bosom friend. The singer merely laughed at the statement and said, "I think it's very appropriate."

Rumors have been spreading in the past, noting the close friendship between the two singers which paved the way to rumors that they were dating, a notion which they have firmly denied repeatedly.
In the past, Fong had been teased by his fans for his very nice personality, not having a single scandal in his decade-long career as a musician. However, it has been said that he had been spending most of his time and having his meals with Sit.
While the claims were partially true that he spends a lot of time with the singer, Fong also refuted the claims that she tells him every single secret she has.
To this, the 31-year old musician said, "She may have her deepest secrets that I feel she won't tell anyone, not even her best friend," adding that every person has something he or she couldn't reveal.
Fong says that he finds it interesting and funny whenever fans at his concerts tell him to date Sit. But he also admits being annoyed if they tend to do it throughout the entire concert.
As for his career, Fong says that he feels he has more control over his direction and music while working with his sound crew, People Recording Cooperation.
The singer revealed that working with them had been a fun experience and although he felt the challenges of being his own boss, he says that being able to experiment on his music was satisfying.
