Originally, the movie was entitled Almanac, Welcome to Yesterday; but they changed the name to something that would be easier to remember when released. Jonny Weston and Sofia Black (Gossip Girl) are the lead actors of the film.
The story is about time travel. A group of people had learned how to actually bend space and time, which enables them to go back their past and fix things. They built the time machine to change all the mistakes they have done in their life for their own personal gain. Eventually, it just brought chaos and they learned why is it wrong to mess with time like that. Changing the past could actually lead to something undesirable in the future. There will be a lot of action and misadventures on this film and you wouldn't want to miss that.
The movie was supposed to be released earlier this year but the studio decided to cancel its planned date of February 28 and wait until next year instead. The production started back in June of 2013 with Atlanta, Georgia was the movie's location. Paramount linked up with MTV Films to make this movie possible.
Project Almanac is directed by Dean Israelite and its official released date is on January 30, 2015.
