Random House launched an app called "Dothraki Companion" October 10 based on the hit HBO series, Game of Thrones.

David Peterson, the linguist that created the Dothraki and Valyrian language for the HBO series, helped in developing the app, The Guardian reported.

Users that purchase the app can learn how to pronounce more than 300 Dothraki words using flashcards, games, grammar summaries, culture notes and conversational dialogue.

Along with the Dothraki Companion app, George R. R. Martin's publisher also released Living Language Dothraki: A Conversational Language Course, a book and audio course package that teaches the fictional language.

The book features a "pronunciation guide, basic phrases, a detailed guide to grammar, 250 vocabulary words organized in 11 thematic lists, culture notes, and 50 written exercise questions," the publisher said.

Additionally, the accompanying one-hour audio CD comes with pronunciation, phrases, key grammar examples, vocabulary, and a dialogue.

The Living Language Dothraki book and audio course will go on sale in the United Kingdom later this month.

Random House also offers one-year subscriptions to an online course for those interested in long-term lessons.
