The revelation came during an interview while promoting his latest war film. He added that his brother got their dad's weapons while he had a shotgun from his grandpa.

He noted that he first was given an air gun and later had a shotgun when he was six years old. And when he reached eight years old, Pitt noted that he was able to have his first handgun.

The well-known actor said that his father, who exposed him to such weapons at a very young age, has instilled him in a profound and deep respect for the guns given to him.

In relation to this, Pitt also admitted that he asked his and Angelina's eldest son, Maddox, for help as Maddox knew so much about tanks. He noted that when they began to shoot the film, he asked Maddox for lots of information in order to understand his role and the movie in general much better.

Meanwhile, Pitt and the other actors he has been with in "Fury" said that they have really bonded while filming and they hope that they could really relay the message they want to come across to the audience.

The film is about the World War II and Pitt and the other guys are these people in-charge of the tank and basically they are the ones being sent to the most dangerous places during the said war.

The film is set to be out on theatres this Friday.
