(Photo : File photo) Charging the battery of your gadgets always is a problem and takes a while. But new researchpublished by Nanyang Technological University promise a battery that can recharge almost full in two minutes.
Are you ready for an invention that will forever change your life? Well, your cellphone's life, that is.
Scientists from the Nanyang Technological University located in Singapore have revealed that they have developed a lithium-ion battery that can be charged immediately, and within in two minutes, it's already 70 percent full.

Lithium-ion batteries are used in tablets and phones so this is the perfect accessory you might want to save up for.
The scientists also revealed that the battery they have created will last much longer than what we have now as it can still be fully functional even after twenty years or 10,000 cycles.
The scientists found out that the anode or the negative pole of the battery works with graphite traditionally. However, they have noted that graphite replaced by a newly developed gel can make the battery's life last much longer.
The gel is said to be made from abundant, cheap, and safe material called titanium oxide that is present in soil. The titanium oxide was then morphed into tubular strands that speed up the charging of the battery.
However, the scientists are not only eyeing the gadget industry, as they noted that the battery can actually be a potential source of energy for the electric car industry. The battery should be charged for five to 15 minutes for the said type of car.
The researchers also pointed out that it would cut down the number of battery disposals, thus helping the environment.
The invention is set to be out in the market after two more years.
