Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung is said to have suffered from a heavy blow, falling ill and losing too much weight, after hearing that her former husband, Nicholas Tse, has gotten back with his former flame, Faye Wong.

According to insider claims, Cheung had been depressed over the matter and has been suffering from insomnia and lack of appetite since hearing that Tse is together again with Wong.

Based on sources, the 34-year old actress' weight has dropped from 47.6 kilograms to 40.9 kilograms. These speculations have come to light after she was spotted arriving for the filming of a reality TV show called 'She's My Family' at the Hong Kong airport, looking dramatically thinner than she had been.

Additionally, the actress is said to have suffered from acute gastroenteritis while she was filming in Shanghai where she had been admitted at a hospital to rest. Said illness is said to have been caused by stress, particularly about Tse's failure to visit his sons who are now residing in Singapore.

Furthermore, in order not to affect her two sons, Lucas and Quintus, with her bad mood, the actress allegedly flew to Japan with some of her friends for a shopping spree. The shopping trip is said to have cost NT$4 million.

On the other hand, according to media reports, Tse has flown to Beijing with Wong and her 17-year old daughter, Leah Dou. The actor is said to have been spending his spare time writing songs for Leah and a source has revealed that even before his reconciliation with Wong, Tse had been spending a great deal of his time trying to encourage Leah to hone her singing prowess.

The same source says that the actor has developed an attachment to Leah as they had very similar personalities and is currently helping her write songs and improve on her talent.
