South Korean actress Chae Rim followed Chinese customs in her wedding to Chinese actor Gao Ziqi Wednesday in his hometown of Taiyuan in China's Shanxi province.
Following the traditional Chinese customs, Chae wore a red, embroidered Qipao and offered tea with the groom Gao, who wore a much more modern suit, to the family elders.

Chae wore a white bridal gown at their western-style wedding held at a hotel with a few family members and friends. They reportedly will hold a traditional Korean wedding next week in Korea.
Chae met Gao, who is two years younger than she is, through the Chinese drama "The Lee Family", where they acted as husband and wife. The couple revealed their relationship in March this year, and got engaged in June.
"Ziqi is a warm and careful person. (He) does many little things to make you touched. He just cares about you," said the bride Chae. "He is like my father to care about me and like my brother to love me. This is exactly the love I imagine," Chae added.
Similarly, the groom Gao said, "if there is a time machine, I hope to meet her a little bit earlier so that (I) could be with her and love her." Gao added, "unexaggeratedly, her appearance in my life is just like flush of hope lighting my life."
This is the second marriage for Chae, who was once married to Korean singer Lee Seung-hwan in 2003 and got divorced from in 2006.
Gao and Chae were the third Chinese-Korean star couple to get married recently. In August, famous Chinese actress Tang Wei got married with Korean film director Kim Tae-yong. Chinese pop star Qi Wei married Korean artists Lee Seung Hyun in Las Vegas in September.
