More European countries rule on limited milk powder sale


Currently, several milk powder procucers including Sainsbury claimed a new rule that allow one person buy two cans at a time.

British media pointed out that this might have been related to China. Milk powder producers in the Mainland China are not trustworthy at all by new parents since safety scandals broke out frequently.

Chinese parents are turning to parallel-goods traders to buy infant formula overseas. 

Consumers chose to buy from Hongkong. Last month, an amendment to the Hong Kong import and export law regulates that one person can only carry out two cans, or 1.8 kilos of baby formula. And that person must be at least 16 years of age and must not have left the city in the last 24 hours.

At the same time, this influence spreaded to other coutries as well. Before Britain, New Zealand、Australia、Germany ruled similar limits on selling the milk powder.
