Former "Glee" star Charice Pempengco has once again talked with Oprah Winfrey, where she initially showcased her talent and was discovered internationally, as she was part of the host's special episode entitled "Where Are They Now". Charice and Oprah last saw each other back in 2010 and her appearance in the recent episode has shocked a lot of people since she looked very different from what she sported before. Charice was then asked by Oprah with the question "Were you thinking about transitioning to become a male?"
The 22-year-old came out as a lesbian back in 2013 and she said that she is a "tomboy", a Filipino term used to describe a lesbian, but she pressed why people see that as a problem when in fact there is no buzz about it in her opinion.
She then noted that she would like to ask for forgiveness to those who do not understand her. She added that she wanted to thank her fans and to the people who are still there to support her.
She also pressed that she is aware people are much comfortable with how she looked like before than what she is sporting now: a blond buzz cut and a black collared top.
However, she defended her new style saying that she always wanted to be edgier and unleash her dark side (in a positive note) and added that it's not being rebellious but it's just her way of evolving.
She also posted a photo of her and Oprah on her Instagram page with the caption: "Who's excited to see this? #O #wherearetheynow #Oprah @oprah."
She has not answered the question yet and you guys have to find out about it on Sunday night at 9 on OWN.
