Cleveland forward LeBron James scored a game high of 26 points as the Cavs won against the Indiana Pacers 98-93 in their fourth preseason game of the National Basketball Association (NBA) on Thursday evening.
It was a tight first half as James led the Cavaliers with 16 points to put Cleveland up by a point 47-46 but after the break, the Cavs went to work scoring 29 points compared to the 17 of Indiana in the third quarter extending the lead to 13 points.

James scored an additional 10 points in the third but was taken out by Cleveland coach David Blatt with 4:41 left.
James did not play in the fourth quarter as Indiana took advantage with forward Chris Copeland exploding for an additional 13 points and Luis Scola adding eight points to level the game at 78-all.
It was neck-and-neck from then on as both teams exchanged leads and with 40 seconds left, A.J. Price converted his 14th point to put the Cavaliers up 94-93.
Cleveland held on to that one point lead with only 10.3 seconds remaining in the ball game as Copeland fouled Joe Harris after Damjan Rudez of the Pacers missed a shot that sent Harris to the free-throw line.
Harris made both of his free-throws prompting Indiana to call a short timeout.
After the timeout, the ball was given to Indiana guard Watson who missed a three-point opportunity with Alex Kirk pulling down the rebound that was immediately fouled by Lavoy Allen.
Kirk converted both of his free-throws to finish the game.
James added three assists and four rebounds while Matthew Dellavedova and Price both contributed 14 points for Cleveland.
Tristan Thompson pulled down a game high of nine rebounds for the Cavs while Copeland and David West combined for 31 points for Indiana.
The Eastern Conference Division runners-up, Indiana, lost their third straight game in four preseason games while Cleveland recorded their fourth straight preseason victory.
Next up for James and the Cavs is Dirk Nowitzki's Dallas Mavericks who also defeated the Pacers in their last Sunday's exhibition game.
