Taylor Swift's New Diet Coke Ad Features Her Cat, Olivia Benson (VIDEO)

Happiness for Taylor Swift is a Diet Coke and a bunch of cute kittens.

Swift's latest Diet Coke ad has gone viral before going on air this coming Friday - and it certainly screams Swift. The singer is seen in her immaculately chic apartment, drinking a Diet coke while her cat Olivia Benson looks on.

Soon enough, as a new single plays in the background, kitten after kitten magically appear in her home. , "And that's how it works, how you get the girl, girl," Swift's song plays.

The ad then ends with Swift announcing that her new album, "1989", will be available on October 27.

Of course with fame comes criticism - and it seems that the now-famous Olivia Benson has found a critic in comedian John Cleese.

Appearing on "The Graham Norton Show" simultaneously, Cleese comments that Swift's kitty is the weirdest cat he's ever seen.

"How did it have the accident?" the 74-year-old actor asked the singer, adding, "Is that a proper cat? Or is it damaged irreparably? That's the weirdest cat I've ever seen in my life."

Swift's cat has an apparent genetic mutation that causes the cartilage in its ears to look as if it has folded over. But despite the mutation, Swift took offense at the comedian's criticism of her pet.

A cat lover himself, Norton then flashed a photo of Cleese's huge feline on the screen and, Swift immediately referred to it as a "monster".

"It's an American breed and the reason it's not here tonight is it didn't want to come," Cleese stated, glaring at Swift.

Cleese and Swift then proceeded to debate about cats and dogs with another guest, cricket player Kevin Pietersen.

The comedian then said that cats are like women - unpredictable. The singer, who seemed to be trying to contain herself, then commented that it was unwise for Cleese to have said what he did.
