Taiwanese actor Kai Ko faces a separate sentence in Taiwan after being involved in a drug bust with Jaycee Chan and being detained for 14 days last August.
After being released from his detention, the actor has been summoned to a court in Taipei last September 1. He has been scheduled to attend yet another hearing yesterday, October 15, in order for the court to decide whether he should go through an involuntary rehabilitation or pay for the treatment for drug addiction.

The 23-year old actor is said to have already applied for treatment for his addiction at the Cathay General Hospital, however, since marijuana is listed as a category 2 drug in Taiwan which means he can only receive treatment at the Taipei City Hospital's Songde Branch.
If he is forced to undergo treatment by the court, he would have to transfer to said facility.
Without regard to the result of his hearing which hasn't been publicized, the 23-year old actor's family has come to support him. To show that they were on his side, Ko's father uploaded a picture of his family members wearing a blue baseball jacket that had the word 'KAI' printed at the back.
Last October 14, the actor has also uploaded a photo of an umbrella on his personal Instagram account where he thanks his supporters for not leaving him out in the cold during the time he was arrested.
On previous reports, Ko's urine and hair samples has been submitted to the Taipei District Prosecutors Office in order to be tested. The office has also acquired documents from the trial the actor had to go through in China.
On the other hand, it has already been decided that all of the upcoming movies where he had been featured would be banned from Chinese media.
