Taiwanese singer-actor George Hu reveals that he has once faced a suicide threat from woman whom he rejected after she confessed his love for him when he was still a university student.

Pretty boys have it hard, too, and George is a testament to that. In a recent appearance on 'University', a local variety show, the 32-year old Taiwanese heartthrob spoke about his experience as a university student.

George, who has been known among his peers back then for his good looks, is said to have received a lot of attention from girls in the college he studied at. However, he reveals that none of his experiences had been scarier than an incident which happened with his best friend's ex-girlfriend.

According to the singer-actor, his best friend broke up with his girlfriend and has one day approached him, acting as if she wanted to discuss movies.

Back then, while he was talking to said female, he related that she started confessing her feelings towards him. However, since the woman was his best friend's former girlfriend, George politely turned her down.

After turning her down, George reveals that the girl threatened him that she would poison herself by drinking pesticide if he rejects her.

"It was really horrible," says George as he recounted the incident.

Furthermore, he said that he has never dared to be in contact with the girl ever again after the incident.

On the other hand, when it comes to relationships, the singer-actor revealed that he was not likely to be the one controlling his partner, saying that he prefers to give more freedom when it comes to dealing with someone he's romantically involved in.

Being the gentleman he was, he says that he was going to give his girlfriend the privacy she deserves and would not keep tabs on her besides updating each other's whereabouts.

Additionally, he says that he prefers to break up on good terms and remain friends.
