Chinese Movie 'Hollywood Adventure' begins filming in US

Hollywood Adventure: Zhao Wei, Tong Dawei, Huang Xiaoming

New movie "Hollywood Adventure," starring Chinese actress Zhao Wei, Huang Xiaoming and Tong Dawei began filming on Oct 1 in Los Angeles, US.

The movie is screen played and produced by the director of 'The Fast and the Furious' Justin Lin, who is known as "the No. 1 Director of Global Asian Box Office." 'Hollywood Adventure' is Lin's first time to try the movie topic of love and comedy.

It is said that the movie will add the action elements that Lin is good at and will film at Hollywood for the whole filming process. Lin broke 300 vehicles for 'The Fast and the Furious'. "I always chase speed and never try romance," said Lin. The series of 'The Fast and the Furious' has ever created US$2.3 billion box office globally.

From the high cast and foreign story background to the international team behind the scenes, this movie, combining action, comedy, and romance together, is worth both Chinese and other countries' audience to look forward to.

Some international movie stars will also act in the movie. Chinese new movie actress, Yan Li, who acted in 'The Fast and Furious 6', will show her performing talents in the movie as well. By the end of September, Zhao, Huang, and Tong arrived the U.S. one after the other to prepare the new movie. The movie officially began filming on Oct. 1.

Tong guarded Zhao in the recent movie "Dearest" and was the best friend of Huang in last year's movie, "American Dreams in China." In the previous Hundred Flowers Award ceremony, these three received important awards together. Zhao received the Best Director Award while Huang and Tong received the Best Actor and the Best Supporting Actor.

Hollywood Adventure is the first Chinese movie under Hollywood background with a lot of Chinese and international movie stars. The movie will be released in 2015.
