Amanda Bynes, who has not been seen in public ever since she was placed on a 5150 hold. Now friends are shedding light on the troubled star, one of them is Chelsea Brummet who co-starred with Amanda from 2000-2005 in the show 'All That' has come forward to talk about Byne's relationship with her father as well as her life as a teenager growing up in Hollywood.

Brummet, has stepped forward saying that she had found Amanda to be cold and insecure during their time on 'All That'. The 27-year old former co-star was also quoted saying "I found Amanda to be cold, she was probably thinking about what everyone else was doing there with her, she was the star of the show --- I know she somehow felt like the show was her legacy. At that time, whenever you'd shake her hand, she would barely touch your fingers. She was also closed off to everyone, if you ask her a question she'd quickly answer it just to end the conversation, we never really got to get to know her as much as we wanted to because she was closed off."

Aside from being closed off and cold Brummet recalled the times where she noticed that Amanda was under a lot of stress, she recalls that the troubled actress was "Very insecure" and that Amanda seemed to not like being in the spotlight, but not being number one and her life revolved around topping the latest 'girl next door' and climbing up to the top of the Hollywood food chain. She also remembers how Amanda would try to hide things from her father "She always seemed like she was trying to hide things from her dad, especially her relationship with Taran Killam because her dad did not like him."

Meanwhile, another source says that Amanda is furious at her parents for tricking her and sending her to a Pasadena Mental Facility. 

Her parents on the other hand, are happy that their daughter is safe and that she is finally getting the help that she desperately needs.
