Celebrity News Company Thirty Mile Zone (TMZ) has just reported that Jon Koppenhaver - the mixed martial artist known as 'War Machine' - attempted to commit suicide in his Las Vegas cell this week.

TMZ got their information from law enforcement sources. Last Tuesday, ataround 9:30 in the evening, War Machine was trying to commit suicide by hanging himself in his jail cell.

The sources continued on, saying that a corrections officer happened to be walking by his cell in Clark County Jail.

It was reported that Koppenhaver was sitting on the ground while his feet were up on the bunk bed. The officer tried to call out to him, but he was unresponsive.

The officer had to open the cell and go in. Inside, he found that Koppenhaver had a piece of linen around his neck which was then tied to the leg of the bed. By the time the officer got inside the cell, Koppenhaver's face was turning purple.

Immediately, the officer cut the linen and removed it from around Koppenhaver's neck. Officers had found a suicide note in the cell when they checked in side.

His breathing was strained and he had trouble breathing before he was brought to the medical isolation cell to recover and to be monitored on suicide watch.

War Machine was recently caught at an Extended Stay America Hotel in Angeles after he brutally tortured and beat up ex-girlfriend and porn star, Christy Mack.

Mack was left with 18 broken bones around her eyes, a nose broken in two place, missing teeth, a fractured rib, and more bodily injuries.

Currently, Mack is on the road to recovery. She has recently revealed pictures on social media that shows that she is slowly recovering from the damage that Koppenhaver dealt her.
