Eventually, Zhang Hui who is nephew of Zhang Gaoping was charged by death penalty with a two-year reprieve and the uncle 15-year prison sentence. What's worse is that they were tortured for 7 days for a so-called legal investigation.
With the help of attorneys and many others, they were found out as victims of this case and set free.
Zhang Gaoping was so happy and didn't grow teary while Zhang Hui was crying all the way home. When Gaoping saw the poor house of his mother who died several years ago and he couldn't meet her in the final days, he couldn't restrain his tear.
Gaoping's two daughters are already teenagers. The hometown also has shifted a lot in the past ten years. He couldn't even reconganize it at all.
When interviewed, he said he was very grateful for the help of justice people.
It's very impressed that in the court in front of the judge he quoted "You, the judges and prosecutors, are here to judge, but it's uncertain that your next generation will absolutely not harmed by wrong judgement, only the law and justice will keep us secure and treat us fairly."
