It said that at about 1:00 o'clock in the afternoon, a call was received by the Auburn Police Department, informing them that a body had been found in a wooded area near the Forest Ridge Drive in Auburn.

A member of the Misty Upham's family, who was searching for her at the area, recovered the body at the bottom of a 150 embankment near the White River.

Although a purse containing Misty Upham's identification was at the scene, no positive identification or determination of the cause of death has yet been made by the medical examiner.

The 32 year old SAG Award nominee was last seen on October 5 while leaving her sister's apartment in Muckleshoot.

The following day, a statement was released to the media by Misty's father, Charles Upham, that his daughter is missing and that she suffered from mental illness but did not elaborate on her condition.

However, he later disclosed that his daughter has bipolar disorder and bouts of depression and anxiety, but didn't think she was suicidal.

Charles clarified that his daughter is not stressed over money and that her career is going great.

A press statement posted to Misty's Facebook page says, "As her father, I do not fear she committed suicide. I feel that she has been hurt by accident or someone has put her in harms way."

Misty Upham or Johnna Monevata, the caregiver to Meryl Streep's character in the film "August Osage County," has suffered from mental illness most of her life, yet she was able to manage it well with her family's support and help of her medical team.

Her Johnna Monevata role earned her a Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Award nomination alongside the cast for her work in the movie.

Misty Upham also had a small role in "Django Unchained" and was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for her performance in 2008's "Frozen River."

Also, she had roles in the TV series "Big Love" and the TV movie "Skinwalkers."

She was currently shooting a film called "Crawlspace" when the tragedy occurred.
