Samsung Galaxy Note 4 vs. LG G3: Comparison of Big Screened Devices

Choosing between two smartphones with big screens, or phablets, is difficult. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the LG G3 phablets offer quite different specs and the internal and external levels are also quite different from each other.

Hardware, software, and storage
Galaxy Note 4: Its processor is quad core Krait 450 and clocked at 2.7GHz. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset, an Adreno 420 GPU. Note 4 offers a 3GB of RAM with 32GB internal storage that is expandable up to 128GB. The device runs under Android v4.4.4 (KitKat) OS.
LG G3: The device runs under Android v4.4.2 (KitKat). It comes with a quad core Krait 400 processor at 2.5GHz. It couples with an Adreno 330 GPU and stays comfortably on a Qualcomm MSM8975AC Snapdragon 801 chipset. Its 2GB of RAM has an internal memory of 16GB while the 3GB of RAM offers a 32GB internal, which is expandable to 128GB.
Display, exterior design and size
Galaxy Note 4: It sports a faux leather stitched look. Consumers can choose from four colors: black, pink, gold and white. It comes with 5.7 inch screen with Super AMOLED display and screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 (525 ppi). Note 4 holds dimensions of 153.5×78.6×8.5mm and weighs 176grams.
LG G3: Featuring a beautiful metal finish with 5.5-inch True HD-IPS + LCD display. Its 1440 x 2560 screen resolution has higher pixel density with 534 ppi. G3's dimension is 146.3×74.6×8.9mm and weighs 149 grams.
Camera
Galaxy Note 4: The primary camera is 16MP ISOCELL with optical image stabilization, LED flash, autofocus, HDR, dual shot, and geo tagging. The front camera has 3.7MP.
LG G3: The primary camera is only 13MP with dual-LED flash, phase detection/laser autofocus, optical image stabilization, and HDR. Its 2.1MP front camera can record videos at 1080p@30fps.
Battery
Galaxy Note 4: It has 3220 mAh battery unit.
LG G3: It has a battery unit of 3000 mAh.
