World No. 1 Serena Williams will compete and defend her title at the season-ending WTA Finals at in Singapore this coming Monday.
Williams was in doubt of participating in the tournament since she pulled out in Beijing early this month due to problems with her left knee.
The Finals is comprised of two groups, White and Red, and Williams is placed in group Red where she would go up against Simona Halep, Eugenie Bouchard and Ana Ivanovic while group White comprises of Maria Sharapova, Petra Kvitova, Caroline Wozniacki and Agnieszka Radwanska in a round-robin match.

Williams, 33, is the oldest competitor followed by Sharapova at 27.
The 18-time Grand Slam champion is gunning for her fifth title and third consecutive crown at the prestigious event. If she does win, she would tie Chris Evert in second place with the most titles.
Tennis legend Martina Navratilova has the most titles in the tournament with eight crowns.
Two other players are still in doubt of competing in the event.
Bouchard withdrew from the Luxembourg Open last Oct. 10 because of a left thigh injury while Ivanovic pulled out of the tournament in Linz, Austria because of hip injury.
If both players were to withdraw, Angelique Kerber and Ekaterina Makarova would replace them and is most favorable for the defending champion.
Group White has the most competitive of players with French Open champion Sharapova, Wimbledon Championships titlist Kvitova, U.S. Open finalist Wozniacki and Rogers Cup champ Radwanska.
Both Sharapova and Kvitova are past winners of the event and are heavily favored in the group while Williams seems to have much competition in her group with two injured players and Halep not performing up to par as of late.
The tournament will be held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium that has a capacity of 10,000 people and is part of a new US$ 1 billion Sports Hub.
