Blake Lively has become a staple in entertainment news since announcing the pregnancy -- and why not? It is obvious that the actress is very happy with her pregnancy. She made it extremely evident when she talked about it on the red carpet on Thursday, October 16.

The "Sisterhood of Traveling Pants" actress wore a body hugging gown that is decorated with a lot of little pink and purple flowers. She was obviously very proud of her growing baby bump as she posed confidently, in front of the cameras at the God's Love We Deliver, Golden Heart Awards in New York City.

The "Gossip Girl" alum gushed about how excited she was to become a mother. She even said that her pregnancy was a dream come true for her.

"It's something that I've always wanted ever since I was a little girl. I never knew what I wanted to do for a living but I knew I wanted to have a lot of kids because I had come from a big family, so it was always important to me. So it's just the excitement of that finally being here," she said.

Lively also talked about how her husband, Ryan Reynolds has been supportive through this very happy time.

"He's always good to me," she said. "That's like a jerky thing to say because you want to be able to complain about your husband and be that person, but he takes pretty good care of me," she said of her husband, whom she starred with in, the "Green Lantern" movie.

This is the first child os Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, who married in 2012, and both been very vocal about wanting a big family.

Just earlier this year, Lively talked about how she knew her husband would be an amazing dad. "He's going to be a great father and leader and patriarch -- he's so meant to be all of those things," she told Vogue.

"The fact that he lived so much before we got together, he's the exact realized person that he should be. And so I get to share my life with the person he's become, and we get to grow from there," the actress added.
