Rajon Rondo Denies Rumors He Wants to Leave Boston

Like previous off-seasons involving the Boston Celtics star point guard Rajon Rondo, the media continues to look for different angles and sports takes claiming he no longer wants to be in Boston. However, Rondo continues to discredit these rumors the media portrays.
One of the most recent rumors about Rondo, which swarmed multiple media outlets and social media, came from former Celtics Beat writer and current ESPN sportswriter Jackie MacMullan.

MacMullan mentioned in a behind-the-scenes video of ESPN's Around the Horn about how Rondo "wants out" of Boston and that a trade "will happen." The video, which could be found on YouTube, was later taken down.
What was really odd about MacMullan's conversation is when she stated the Sacramento Kings were interested in trading Isaiah Thomas for Rondo, except the fact Thomas wasn't even on the Kings at the time and had already signed with the Phoenix Suns.
That's typical to see when it comes to media trying to spin false ideas around in an effort to attract more traffic or attention.
In a recent interview earlier this week courtesy of the Boston Herald, Rondo had nothing but praise for the historic Boston Celtics franchise.
"I believe in Danny Ainge and I said it a month ago. I've been through it. One year we were the worst team in the league and the next we were the best," Rondo said on the transition between his rookie year and the Celtics championship team in 2008. "Anything can happen. If you give me four guys who are going to compete and play as hard as possible, then I feel like I can win every game."
Does that sound like the angry Rajon Rondo that's tired of playing for the Celtics and doesn't want to go through another rebuild?
Rondo recently went on record stating that he feels he's a max-contract player in the NBA. Look for him to have one of the best seasons of his career in Boston this coming year proving he has what it takes and continuing to discredit everything the media has to say against him.
