San Franciso Giants Fans have requested for their local radio stations to pull Lorde's hit 'Royals' from their lineup until the World Series between the Giants and the Kansas City Royals end and the radio stations listened the their request.
The hit song will be banned from the airwaves and in any San Francisco Radio station for one week. To further the burn of the song to Giants fans, Lorde once said that she was inspired by the Kansas City team when she first wrote the song after seeing a 1976 photo of George Brett, the former baseman of the Kansas City Royals in the National Geographic.

Kansas City Fox 4 released a statement saying, "According to a website belonging to a San Fransico radio station their employees have been receiving numerous requests via emails and social media platforms asking their station to ban the song "Royals" by Lorde until the "San Francisco Giants win the World Series."
We're sure Lorde was not expecting to be part of this World Series competition between the two teams, especially since the return of her song on the airwaves of San Francisco depends on the outcome of the World Series and if the Giants win.
The singer is currently on tour and has confirmed her performance appearance at the AMA's where she is nominated for four awards. She was recently part of a South Park episode wherein it was 'revealed' that she was actually a man, the youngster took it in stride and was even flattered and proud that she already has a South Park episode on her belt.
