U.S. Open champion Marin Cilic won his fourth ATP Tour Title of the year at the Kremlin Cup in Moscow Russia on Sunday.

Second seeded Cilic was faced with six break points and saved them all in the first set against fifth seeded Roberto Bautista Agut but he converted seven service aces and broke the Spaniard once to take the set.

It was smooth sailing in the second set as forced Bautista Agut beyond the lines with his huge serves and broke the Spaniard once again to win the set and the match 6-4 6-4.

The 26-year-old Croat had also qualified in the year-ending ATP World Tour Finals to be held in London this coming November.

Cilic became the second Croatian to win the crown in Moscow following his coach Goran Ivanisevic who won the title in 1996.

He will not be participating in Spain or Switzerland this week and would take some much needed rest in preparation for the last Masters 1000 event of the year, the BNP Paribas Masters in France as well as the prestigious event in London.

"I will be preparing for Bercy (BNP Paribas Masters)," Cilic said. "Two very big tournaments coming up for me in Bercy and London. I have to be motivated to do well."

In the women's competition, local favorite and sixth seeded Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova won the crown against Irina-Camelia Begu of Romania in a hard earned three-setter 6-4 5-7 6-1 which lasted almost two and a half hours.

Pavlyuchenkova, 23, broke the Romanian once to easily take the first set but Begu came back with a late break to grab the second set.

In the third and deciding set, the Open GDF Suez champion collected herself and jumped out on top with a 5-0 lead to eventually win the crown.

"I'm super delighted," Pavlyuchenkova said. "It's the best way to finish the season for me - winning the title at home, and now I have seven in my career. I couldn't be happier with how the week went."
