Former 'Baywatch' star Carmen Electra claims that she knew marrying basketball star Dennis Rodman was a mistake immediately after they've exchanged their vows in Vegas.
On an interview she recently had on Oprah Winfrey's show 'Where Are They Now?,' Electra admitted that after her mother passed away, her wild side came out as she treaded her way to self-destruction and marrying Rodman was a part of it.

Furthermore, Electra stated that no one could understand why she loved the basketball player who had a reputation for being a 'bad boy'. However, despite what others thought, she said she thought she saw a man who was in a lot of pain.
"In a way, we kind of understood each other," Electra said.
The actress then described their relationship, saying that though it had been a short one, it was very passionate. "When it was good, it was amazing. And when it was bad, it was the worst."
According to the actress, she did not allow herself some time to mourn over her mother's death and immediately conceded to becoming Rodman's wife in a shotgun wedding in Las Vegas after a whirlwind romance back in 1998.
The 42-year old actress stated that everything happened so fast, but remembered regretting the wedding immediately afterwards. Electra claimed that she realized that she was still going through the pain of losing her mother and later realized what she should do.
Electra and Rodman remained married for a little under a year, and the former state that though it took her a bit of time to realize everything, she started working towards getting herself together again.
On the other hand, the actress wasn't the only one who thought that the marriage was a mistake, but Rodman also realized the same things and filed for an annulment nine days after their impromptu wedding. Eventually, the former couple reconciled and agreed to get a divorce in 1999.
