Eddie Bravo, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (BGG) trainer at 10th Planet Jiu-jitsu in Las Vegas, Nevada, was recently arrested in his recent visit to United Kingdom.
Bravo has been a jiu-jitsu coach for so many years. He has been the coach of notable fighters such as Matt Mitrione and Dan Hardy. He is famous mainly for his diverse and off-the-wall approach to jiu-jitsu that steps away from the traditional Gracie style.

In the past few days, Bravo went to the UK for a seminar tour for his BJJ.
All of a sudden, news came out that Bravo was in jail, with posts on his personal Twitter account.
Bravo was kept in a holding cell alongside fellow prisoners before being moved to a remote meeting room where he was told he was being deported back to the United States.
When he got home, he then went online for his Radio podcast to explain the situation.
Typically, Bravo explained, BJJ instructions who teach seminars do not need to obtain work visas. The admission of being on vacation would be enough to grant permission into the UK.
This is also the case in Canada, where Bravo had also experienced being expelled from a country and was also banned for a year. The reason was the same, because he was unable to articulate why he was visiting the country.
While Canada does not really need a visa for people outside of the country conducting business, he was really expelled due to dishonesty.
Rather than feel bad due to the happenings, Bravo instead took something positive away from the experience.
He said the experience was good for him, as he got a little taste of what being imprisoned felt like.
Despite it, BJJ continues to grow. With pioneers like Bravo taking jiu-jitsu and molding it into something different and special, BJJ will continue to evolve.
