Taiwanese-Japanese model and actress Makiyo Kawashima is said to have been spotted drunk at a friend's wedding celebration despite swearing off alcohol two years ago.
After being in an alcohol ban for two years now, subsequent to an untoward incident she and her former boyfriend were involved in, Kawashima was seen in a drunken state again after coming from a friend's wedding banquet recently.

According to media reports, Kawashima has been drunk by the time the second dish at the banquet was served. Furthermore, she had been heard shouting, "The alcohol was all wiped out by the people at our table!"
Witnesses stated that the model-actress had been tipsy while she descended from the stage after delivering her congratulatory speech to the newlyweds. Additionally, the actress needed the assistance of a friend to hail a cab in order to get home the moment the party ended.
When asked to react about the media stating that she broke her alcohol ban, the 30-year old actress said that she already did that in March this year during her mother's birthday celebration.
Kawashima added that despite having much control over herself now, her alcohol tolerance has decreased, citing that she can only consume at least three glasses of wine, compared to drinking a bottle by herself in the past.
The alcohol ban that the actress has sworn to follow resulted from the incident two years ago when she and her former boyfriend beat up a cab driver in their drunken state. Kawashima's career has plummeted since then.
In her defense, Kawashima's mother told the public to leave her daughter alone, saying that the actress' job is unstable and that she is in a lot of pressure both financially and emotionally as she is the only one supporting her mother's cancer treatment.
