Hong Kong Singer G.E.M. will sing in space

As the first Chinese ambassador of XCOR, G.E.M. Gloria Tang is now taking aviation training in the Netherlands. G.E.M. showed her cool photo wearing a flight training suit on Weibo and shared her excitement with netizens on Monday.
On Monday, G.E.M. posted her aviation training photo on Sina Weibo and said, "Theoretical classes for the whole morning, but finally now I can fly! Got changed, Go!" In the photo, G.E.M. wore dark blue space outfits and smiled very happily. She looked so handsome and capable.

After the photo posted, this 2014 most popular Asian star received a lot of netizens' comments and likes. "The most handsome space singer ever," some netizen said. "Uniform temptation!" Another netizen said.
On September 30, G.E.M. was assigned as the first XCOR global Chinese ambassador in Macau. Confirmed to travel to space in 2015, G.E.M. will also be the first Chinese singer to travel to space.
"Now I feel so nervous. I will just stay in space for 8 minutes this time. There will be not a large volume of training," G.E.M. revealed in an interview. After finishing her three concerts in Guangzhou, China, she flew to Amsterdam, Netherlands for the flight training.
G.E.M. felt so honored for this assignment.
"Music is always my dream. I always want to bring my music to more places, and I have been keeping forward to chase this dream all the time. But I really never thought about some day I would bring my music to space. This is really an amazing thing. Thank XCOR very much for giving me this opportunity!" said G.E.M.
G.E.M. was asked if she would worry about safety issue, and said she did not worry about her safety at all and gave 100 percent trust to XCOR. G.E.M. also stressed that she would enjoy this space trip.
