Grave violators of women's rights, such as Ray Rice and MMA fighter War Machine, garner spots on E! Online's list of most offensive Halloween costumes for 2014.

Many people may have been planning Halloween costume parties as the holiday fast approaches leaving people wondering who or what they will be at this time of year.

In order to avoid being the insensitive person at the party, E! Online has provided a list of costumes that should be avoided because of its possible "backlash" effect.

At the top of the list is Ray Rice who had been reportedly violated the Violence Against Women Act after being involved in a domestic violence case following an incident where he was caught on camera hitting his wife, Janay Rice.

In the footage taken by a surveillance camera at an elevator at the Revel casino in Atlantic City, Rice and his wife were seem to be in the middle of an intensive argument and were physically assaulting each other leading to an unconscious Janay, who was later dragged by the NFL player out of the lift.

Another woman-hitting costume to be avoided is that of MMA fighter War Machine who is currently spending his Halloween in prison after brutally beating his then-girlfriend Christy Mack.

War Machine garnered the Top 16 spot on E! Online's list though that doesn't make him much better than the other women's rights offenders.

Born as Jonathan Koppenhaver, the MMA fighter used his fighting skills inappropriately after he kicked and beat Mack so many times that photos of her battered face and body and a plea to track him down led to his arrest.

He now faces possible life imprisonment after authorities booked him with 32 felony charges including attempted murder, kidnapping, and sexual assault.

Other Halloween costumes to be avoided also include zombie versions of dead artists such as Robin Williams, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Joan Rivers and other controversial personalities and news makers including Ebola, Amanda Bynes, Darren Wilson and Michael Brown.
