Amanda Bynes' parents have announced that they are not working with Sam Lutfi.
Lynne Bynes released a statement from her California home, saying "Do not worry, we are not working with Sam Lutfi", when the 56-year old mother was asked about her daughters wellbeing she answered by simply saying that Amanda is fine.

Lutfi released an open letter earlier this month through the xojane.com website, and in the letter he openly talked about Amanda and how he has been helping her and her family and that he was also part of her decision to return to Los Angeles, where she is currently on a 5150 hold at the Mental Facility.
But, the Bynes family isn't the only family taking action about Lutfi.
Jamie Spears has upped security for his daughter Britney Spears even though Lutfi has not been in the singer's life for the past six years. "Her bodyguard has been asked to keep an eye out for him."
A source says that Britney's team is disgusted and appalled that the "Svengali" is still trying to sneak his way back into the singer's life. "Jamie believes that Sam will be trying to worm his way back into Britney's life again and he is doing everything he can to prevent that from happening."
Sam Lutfi has claimed to "fix" celebrities who are in a downward spiral and although he has never had any professional experience, he says that he has worked in Hollywood for years but has reportedly never been paid anything more than US$10,000 for his services.
He also claims that he is a consultant for his mother's chain of gas stations.
