Katy Perry's 30th birthday plans in Egypt were called off because of security concerns.
The singer, who turns 30 Saturday, was said to have cancelled plans for her Egyptian birthday bash after her itinerary leaked to the media.
The Egyptian birthday bash was said to include a Nile River tour, reported Hollywood Reporter.

But because her plans leaked out, the singer had to pull the plug for "safety reasons."
It's unsure where Perry will celebrate her big day, but gifts have already started to pouring in - including unique gift that the singer requested on Twitter.
The singer also posted a photo on Instagram Monday that showed a Shakey's pizza parlor marquee sending her happy birthday greetings, which the actress asked for the previous day.
"Kicking off birthday week right!" the photo captioned.
"This signage is a bucket list dream come true!"
Perry is currently enjoying a three-week holiday from her Prismatic World Tour. She initially planned for parties and tours in Egypt together with an entourage.
E! News also reported that the singer planned to visit Morocco, South Africa and Paris during her three-week break. It is still unknown whether or not she would cancel her trip to the other destinations.
Perry's personal publicist did not issue any comment when asked about the Egyptian tour. A spokesperson from her record-company said, "As always, I don't comment on Katy's personal life."
Perry's Prismatic World Tour will resume on Nov. 7. She will be touring Australia and New Zealand, where her performances will run through Dec. 20.
