It seems pop princess Britney Spears actually earns more money with her stint in Vegas than what was previously speculated.
Last year, Spears agreed to perform at The Axis at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino for US$310,000 per show. Her contract runs for 96 shows for a two-year period, which gives her a whopping US$29,760,000 at the end of the run.

But with the pop princess' popularity, her act is such a huge hit that ticket sales surpassed everyone's expectations. Spears' team managed to renegotiate her contract for a pay raise that earns her US$475,000 per show.
The venue also added more dates on Spears' "Piece of Me" show. She will now hit the stage in 140 shows which upped her earnings to US$1 million every week.
E! News contacted Caesars Entertainment to confirm the actress' fee raise, although representatives said they do not comment "on the specifics of contracts with any of our resident headlining artists."
The success of Britney's stint in Vegas definitely ups her career prospects, which has struggled after she failed to produce a hit song or album years after her public breakdown.
It seems Spears is not the only megastar to hit Planet Hollywood. Earlier report had it that Jennifer Lopez may also ink a deal with Caesars Entertainment for her own residency, the Spears-way.
"Nothing is certain at all," said an insider to E! News revealed.
However, no deal has been reached yet and Caesars Entertainment failed to make a definitive statement.
"Caesars Entertainment is always engaged in conversations with a number of artists to potentially perform at its properties in Las Vegas ... at this time, JLo is not confirmed to perform at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino," said in a statement.
